Important Notes

DRAWS

Please scroll down to the bottom of this page to view the Spring League draws for Year 1 - Year 6. Please note: The draw will be published at the start of Term 4, once finalised.
We will release the draw for 17th October first, with the remainder of the season’s draws to be published over Labour weekend.
You can set filters for preferred grades/year levels.
The date range can also be adjusted to filter draws by your chosen dates. Ensure the correct dates are selected.
Teams are divided into sections, but some teams will move between sections due to the numbers involved.
Every team has a game each week. If you're unable to locate your team, please check the other sections for details.
Please Note: Draws are final and cannot be changed.
The last day of the Spring League is 28th November. Traditionally, this is a fun dress-up day for teams.

RESULTS

The Spring League is non-competitive, and all games are intended to be friendly and fun. Therefore, results will not be published.

DEFAULTS

If your team is unable to play, please notify us before 7:30am on the Saturday of your game.
Do not simply fail to show up.
A $50.00 default fee applies to any team that does not provide notice.
Defaulting without notice affects the opposing team and smooth running of the games.

UMPIRES

Every team requires an umpire. To check if your team has booked a Kidzplay pool umpire, click here.
Important: We do not have spare pool umpires. If your umpire is unavailable, please notify us as soon as possible. Do not arrive on game day expecting extra umpires. For more information on booking pool umpires, click here.

BOYS IN TEAMS

Boys are welcome to play. A maximum of two boys per team is allowed on the court at any time, with only one boy in the goal circle at a time.

YEAR 1 (6-aside) TEAMS

YEAR 1 (7-aside) & YEAR 2 TEAMS (Includes Year 1/2)

YEAR 3 & YEAR 4 TEAMS (Includes Year 2/3 and Year 3/4)

Two 15-minute halves with a 2-minute halftime break.
Teams swap ends at halftime.
Must rotate positions weekly (positions can be swapped at halftime, but only at halftime).
Substitutions for players on a half game are to be made at halftime.
2.6m goalposts, Size 4 ball.
Year 3 games start at 8:45 am, followed by Year 4 games and then Year 5 games.

YEAR 5 & YEAR 6 TEAMS (Includes Year 4/5 & Year 5/6)

Four 8-minute quarters with 1-minute breaks after quarters 1 and 3, and a 2-minute halftime break.
Teams swap ends at each quarter.
Teams play straight netball with no compulsory rotations of positions. Players may be swapped/substitutions may be made during quarter time breaks.
It's compulsory that all players have at least half a game each week. This is monitored.
Year 4/5 & 5 teams playing on Courts A - F use a size 4 ball, 2.6m goalposts.
Year 5 teams playing on Courts 1 & 2 may choose to play on the higher 3.05m goalposts.
Year 5/6 & 6 teams use a size 5 ball, 3.05m goalposts.

Uniforms: Uniforms are not required, but teams should wear similar colors.
Time Requests: We are unable to accept any more time requests this season.
Wet Weather: Games are played unless extreme weather occurs. Players can wear extra layers as long as team bibs remain visible.

No Jewellery: Players must remove all jewellery, including watches, and cannot tape earrings. This rule applies to all grades and is non-negotiable for safety reasons. Medical bracelets may be worn if covered with tape.
Fingernails & Hair: Players' fingernails must be short and smooth. Long hair must be tied back.
No Dogs: Only service dogs are permitted on the school grounds.
This is not a competition: Players are learning and having fun, and we have some young umpires umpiring for the first time. Please be kind — no comments, and if you need help, send for an Umpire Mentor during the game.
