Draw Publication

  • Further grading draws will be released as soon as they are ready.
  • The draw for grading games is done weekly, based on results.
  • Please wait until Wednesday afternoon before enquiring.
  • Once grading is complete across all grades, the draw for Term 3 will be published during the school holidays, ahead of the new term.
  • Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Grading Games

  • Year 2 – Year 5 teams play two 15-minute halves with a 2-minute halftime break. Teams swap ends at halftime.
  • Year 6 (and Year 5/6) teams play four 8-minute quarters, with a 1-minute break after quarters 1 and 3, and a 2-minute halftime break. Teams swap ends at each quarter.

Reminders

  • NO jewellery is allowed on court — this includes earrings (even keepers), watches, and all other jewellery. Taping is not permitted, and no exceptions will be made. This rule applies to all grades and is in place for player safety.
  • Fingernails must be short and smooth, and long hair must be tied back.
  • Dogs are not permitted on school grounds, unless they are registered service dogs.

Time Requests

  • We are no longer accepting time requests for the season.
  • While we make every effort to accommodate previously submitted requests, they are not guaranteed.
  • If there is a conflict between team requests, Kidzplay will honour the one that best fits the draw.
  • Thank you for your understanding — we do our best to ensure a fair and balanced schedule.

Umpires

  • Every team must supply an umpire.
  • Click here to check if your team has booked a Kidzplay umpire.
  • If your team has booked a Kidzplay pool umpire, we will provide an umpire for your game each week. If you have not booked a pool umpire, it means you will be supplying your own umpire each week.
  • If your team’s usual umpire is unavailable, you may submit a one-off pool umpire request.
  • One-off requests must be submitted by Wednesday 9am prior to your game.
  • We do not have spare pool umpires available each Saturday. Please do not turn up expecting an umpire without prior arrangement.
  • If your own umpire is sick, please notify us as soon as possible so we can try to assist.
  • Failure to supply an umpire will result in a loss by default.

Scoring

  • The official score is recorded on the scorecard, which stays with the same team for the entire game.
  • One scorer from each team must be present with the scorecard at all times, standing together at the halfway point on the sideline.
  • If your team does not supply a scorer, you will need to accept the score recorded by the opposing team.
  • Disputes about the score will not be accepted after the game. It is the responsibility of both teams to ensure the score is recorded accurately during the match.

Court Protocols

  • To help with smooth game-day operations and reduce congestion between courts, please follow our guide on where teams (coaches, managers, subs) and spectators should stand.
  • This ensures we can easily locate scorecards and teams, and keeps movement between courts flowing smoothly.
  • Please click here to view the diagram for Courts A–F.

Parking

⚠️ Please allow extra time to find a safe and legal park. Auckland Transport (AT) may issue tickets for illegal parking, and vehicles that block access or park on private property may be towed. We appreciate your consideration and cooperation.
